Shores to shores…
The kids have always loved the beach (what’s not to love). Whether it was summertime fun on the local beaches of lake Ontario or spring breaking in the Outer Banks or Hilton Head Island. We are always grateful for the time we get to spend together making memories in the sand and waves. Perhaps we will dip our toes in some cold sand to hold us over a month or two until we can head south for a bit.
Memories…
It is crazy how fast time seems to go by. Not by chance. Raising kids is chaos and then it seems like 10, 15, 20 years have been lived. We normally travel this time of year to catch a break from the winter cold for a couple of weeks, but we are on hold with the travel restrictions and some obligations this year. It is great to be able to see some FB memories and look through some pics of beach travels past.

21, what?
It’s hard to believe we will be celebrating Payton’s 21st birthday tomorrow. It seems like yesterday when she was gathering up some shells and stones on the beach. In a blink of an eye and all four kids are in their twenties (Lucas in a few months too). We are excited to be planning our next beach trip as a family, maybe this spring or next fall. It gets a little trickier with everyone’s adult schedules now, but we will make the time. Until then, we will enjoy a little beach reminiscing.
